3R-BioMedicUS Lecture Series (WS23/24)

The lecture series gravitates around the 3R (Reduce, Refine, Replace) principles, covering state-of-the-art non-animal methodologies (ex vivo – work with patient material; de novo - tissue reconstruction; in silico – modeling approaches) for biomedical research, as well as laboratory animal welfare and the appropriate planning of animal experiments (in vivo). The final block of the series will focus on ethical facets of the 3Rs and their implications.
