Fermenter Hall („Biotechnikum“)
The fermenter hall offers bioreactors from liter to hectoliter scale and equipment for downstream processing. It is operated by the Institute of Biochemical Engineering and details can be found here.
Radionuclide Lab
The radionuclide lab is operated by the Institute of industrial Genetics.
Server room
We currently are in the process of setting up a central server room for all HPC and database servers used by the different groups. For more detailed information, please contact Jun.-Prof. Dr. Björn Voß.
Student Area
Seminar room
The seminar room 0.106 is used for lectures, courses and seminars. Additionally, the talks in the course of the Stuttgart Research Center Systems Biology (SRCSB) seminar series are given here. Information about availability and reservation can be addressed to the Institute of Microbiology.
Lab Space
The lab space for student projects, e.g. the IGEM team, and practical courses is located on the ground floor of the south wing.
CoBi room
The „Computational Biology“ room holds 12 work stations and up-to-date projection equipment (3D projection, SmartBoard, ...). Here, computer-based student courses and projects are conducted. More detailed information on the equipment and on booking can be found at http://www.cobi.uni-stuttgart.de.
