Network of complaint and improvement managers as well as Ombudspeople // Lower Saxony (BeVeOm.Nds): The topics complaint, improvement management and Ombuds - being as well as corresponding positions are part of quality assurance tools in study and teaching at many Lower Saxony universities since 2006/2007. The responsible university employees generally meet twice a year to confidentially exchange and to professionalize their work, for example through joint further education. Additional interested parties are welcome and can contact the speakers of the network via: nds@beveom.de.
Network of complaint and improvement managers as well as Ombudsperson // North Rhine – Westphalia (BeVeOm.NRW): The NRW – network reorganized in 2017 and will meet annually in the first half of a year. An important part of the Meetings will be collegial case consultation in confidentially setting as well as supervision for securing quality. International
ENOHE, the European Network of Ombuds in Higher Education, is the partner organization of BeVeOm on the European level. Members of BeVeOm regularly represent the network at the annual conferences which are organized by ENOHE in different university cities. At these conferences, which are for exchange and further professionalizing, not only participants from many European, but also non- European countries participate, for example Canada, the USA, Australia and Mexico.
The partner organization in Austria is the Ombuds Office for students, the contact point for students of every university in Austria. The Ombuds Office is assigned to the federal ministry for Science, Research and Economics.
In the United Kingdom the Office of the Independent Adjucator (OIA) is a partner organization of the BeVeOm. The OIA is an independent corporation which acts in legal order and for student complaints towards their universities in England and Wales.
