AMICA Core Facility

The AMICA Core Facility provides access to state-of-the-art analytical methods for all users of the University of Stuttgart

The AMICA core facility provides access to state-of-the-art analytical methods for all users within the University of Stuttgart. We support all scientific institutions and members of the University of Stuttgart in terms of consulting, services, and equipment use.

Since many current research projects require characterization and modeling from the micro- to the nanoscale, access to a wide variety of methods, some of which are complementary, is essential. By pooling the instrumental, methodological, and technical expertise of various scientists at the University of Stuttgart, who are conducting research on bio/material science issues and characterization methods, AMICA strengthens interdisciplinary collaboration and provides support through state-of-the-art infrastructure and methodological expertise.

Via the AMICA equipment center, it is possible to apply for appropriate services in research proposals (e.g. DFG) for the use of equipment. The AMICA team will be happy to answer your questions about the services of the core facility or the possibilities of research collaborations.
